You're not wrong. She has had a very difficult life. But she's wise beyond her years and extremely intelligent because of it. I suppose everyone in the family is to some extent. It was shared trauma.

The miracle of science! Trikafta treats the root cause of CF, so she tests negative for CF now. It used to be that if you were diagnosed with CF you could automatically qualify for a wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Megan got her wish when she was about 10. They recently took CF off the list for automatic qualifiers because it's no longer a death sentence! It is truly amazing!
